How we build our full fibre network
Planning
We look for areas that have little to no broadband service within or near to our current network.
Design
We design our network by conducting an initial analysis of the landscape, looking at how many properties can be included and where the cabinets need to be placed.
Validation
We walk the mapped-out route, identifying details within the plans that need adjusting to make sure that we can build as planned.
We start our introductions with ward and parish councillors, residents, businesses and local groups. We then invite everyone to a meeting where you can learn more about Gigaclear, hear about our plans and ask any questions.
We spread the word via groups, clubs associations and support local events. Local sports clubs are at the heart of rural communities. So far, our fund has helped more than 50 sports clubs across Gigaclear’s network to pay for much-needed equipment.
