After receiving funding, the club has been able to buy a new digital scoreboard so supporters – and players - can keep an accurate tally of how many points are scored during matches.

Founded in 1964, the rugby club play their fixtures in Lacock Road, and invite players of all abilities to join them for “fitness, fun and friendship”. It is a purely volunteer-led club, comprising two senior sides and a thriving junior/mini section.

Chairman James Williams said: “Corsham RFC is extremely grateful to Gigaclear’s Rural Sports Club Fund for its support. The funding we’ve received enables us to purchase a new digital scoreboard for our teams to use on game days. This will be used by both the senior teams for all home games, and the junior teams during key games throughout the season.

“As a purely volunteer-led club, any profit that is made goes directly back into the club to help with the day-to-day running costs. With ever-increasing costs, funding such as this provides a massive boost to all those involved in the club.”
