Cleeve Cricket Club successfully applied to the Gigaclear Rural Sports Club fund to buy wicket keeper pads, bats, batting pads and gloves, to help give their young teams the best chance of sporting success.
Club chairman John Parsons said: “We’re so grateful to Gigaclear’s Rural Sports Club Fund for its support. It has enabled us to replace our ageing kit for our U11’s, U13’s and U15’s, which our players really appreciate. It was great to see the U11’s looking the part on their opening match of the season, which they duly won.”
