Learn how you can get more out of your eero
eero Built-in is a feature that turns select Amazon Echo devices into Wi-Fi mesh extenders, adding up to 1,000 sq. ft. of coverage and supporting speeds up to 100 Mbps. If you haven’t linked yet, you can link and activate eero Built-in using the steps below.
From the Settings tab, scroll down and select 'Network settings'.
Under Integrations, select 'Amazon Connected Home'. You'll be prompted to log in using your Amazon account.
Once logged in, toggle 'eero Built-in on'. You can also choose which devices you would like enabled.
Create a profile for each person to personalise schedules, manage internet access, and customise content filtering.
From the Home tab, tap on Add a profile in the Profiles section.
Enter the name of the person for whom you’re creating a profile.
Add any devices that will be associated with the profile and then tap Done in the top right.
With eero, you can create a guest wifi network so visitors can access your home internet without needing your main network’s password. You can disable the guest network at any time by following the steps below and toggling Guest network to Off.
Tap on the 'Setting' tab in the bottom right.
Tap on the 'Guest network'.
Toggle the Guest network option to enable the guest network. Edit the guest WiFi name and password.
Personalise and manage which notifications you receive in your eero mobile app.
From the Settings tab, scroll down and select Notifications.
Customise notifications to your liking.
Set schedules to automatically turn off internet access for individual devices, helping you manage screen time, reduce distractions, and keep unknown devices from connecting.
From the Home tab, tap the profile for which you want to set a schedule.
Select 'Add a scheduled pause'.
Update the schedule name, start time, end time, and frequency for the scheduled pause, then tap 'Save'.
