About this project
We are working with West and North Northamptonshire Councils to provide ultrafast full fibre broadband to over 50,000 rural homes and businesses. The Superfast Northamptonshire project can only invest public funding in areas that are not commercially viable; this is where no suppliers of Next Generation Access broadband (minimum of 30Mbps) are currently available or have planned provision. Below you can see an estimate of when your new ultrafast full fibre broadband network will be coming to your area (subject to change). Our project in partnership with Superfast Northamptonshire is divided into two regions:
South of DaventryLot 1 - South of Daventry to the North of Corby
Under the Superfast Northamptonshire programme, just over 3,100 homes and businesses will benefit from access to a new ultrafast full fibre network directly to each property. In addition, we will be investing commercially in expanding the network to an extra 10,800 homes and businesses, meaning a total of more than 14,100 properties are set to benefit from the new network. West of BrackleyLot 2 - West of Brackley to the North of Oundle
Under the Superfast Northamptonshire programme, more than 3,600 homes and businesses will benefit from access to a new ultrafast full fibre network direct to each property. In addition, we will be investing commercially in expanding the network to an extra 12,600 homes and businesses, meaning a total of more than 16,200 homes and businesses are set to benefit from the new network.
