Fastershire
We are working in partnership with Gloucestershire and Herefordshire County Councils, to provide ultrafast full fibre broadband to over 70,000 homes and businesses, as part of the Fastershire programme of works.
The Fastershire project invests public funding in areas that are not commercially viable; this is where there are no suppliers of Next Generation Access broadband (minimum of 30Mbps) currently available.
Below you can see an estimate of when your new ultrafast full fibre broadband network will be available in your area (subject to change). Our project in partnership with Fastershire is divided into the following phases:
South Herefordshire & The Forest of DeanPhase 3 - Area 2 & 3c - South Herefordshire and Gloucestershire
Under this phase of the Fastershire project, more than 21,800 homes and businesses will benefit from access to a new ultrafast full fibre network directly to each property.
North GloucestershirePhase 3 - Area 3d - North Gloucestershire
Under this phase of the Fastershire project, more than 12,650 homes and businesses will benefit from access to a new ultrafast full fibre network directly to each property.
