Lily Antiques

Background: 

Lily Antiques is located opposite Roots + Seeds at The Old Kennels, in Cirencester Park. Run by Business 100 customers Steve and Louise Pike, they also opened at Easter, 2023 having moved from a premises in Tetbury.

Their story

Steve said: “The location’s great but it was important for us to be able to connect to the internet so we could take card payments.

“It would have been a serious issue if we didn’t have access to good broadband because my only alternative would have been to go outside to get a signal on my phone.”

He said the installation went smoothly and everything was straightforward. 

Steve said: “We spoke to Gigaclear one week and the following week it all happened. Fortunately, because our premises are a new build much of the infrastructure was already in place so all Gigaclear had to do was blow their fibre optic cable through the existing ducts and we were good to go!  There wasn’t any digging required. 

Nevertheless, the Gigaclear engineers were extremely helpful, informative and tidy – all the things you’d hope they’d be. We were up and running within an hour or so of their visit. It was very impressive.”
